Today we received the much anticipated snow day! No school for the kids, which meant no driving for me! Yay! I got to spend the entire day out in my studio with a nice cozy fire going in the wood stove. I love it when I can spend the day painting up a storm! Right now I'm working on a new painting featuring one of my favorite subjects of all time......a banyan tree. This is the first one I've done on wood, and the largest one to date. I don't have the slightest idea what the title will be yet, but I'm sure one will come to mind soon. Now, time to get back to work!
